Sue Ryder is a charity, established in 1954, providing expert and compassionate palliative and end-of-life care and bereavement support from its hospices and care centres and in people's own homes. It offers free-to-access grief support services, advice, information and resources on bereavement, terminal illness and supporting others. The charity funds this work through donations, regular giving as a Friend of Sue Ryder, fundraising challenges and events, a network of charity shops and an online shop of new and donated goods, with all profits going to its care.
