Kinson Masonic Hall on Ferncroft Road is a Freemasons' meeting hall and the meeting place of the Lodge of St. Mark No. 8479. It was the last purpose-built Masonic Hall in Dorset before the Second World War: its foundation stone was laid on 28th June 1934 by the Earl of Shaftesbury and the building was consecrated on 8th November 1934. The hall suffered a fire in April 2004 which caused significant damage, but this led to a refurbishment that improved the Temple and the dining facilities.
