The Royal Air Force is the United Kingdom's air and space force, describing itself as agile, integrated and ready and as working around the clock to defend the skies of the United Kingdom and its allies. Its work covers quick reaction alert, UK Space Command, cyberspace and global operations, and it runs stations, squadrons, university air squadrons and the Air Cadets. It operates aircraft including the Typhoon FGR4, F-35B Lightning, Chinook, Protector, Atlas, Globemaster and Poseidon, and display teams including the Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
