Bournemouth and District Law Society is the professional body representing solicitors in Bournemouth and the surrounding area, based at Borough Chambers, Old Christchurch Lane. Established in 1893, it has over 600 members and, with an extensive programme of lectures, events and professional committees, believes it is one of the most active professional societies in central southern England. Membership is open to qualified solicitors, legal executives, notaries, barristers, fee earners, public sector legal professionals, licensed conveyancers and others authorised under the Legal Services Act.
