Nationwide Building Society is a UK building society owned by its members rather than shareholders, offering current accounts, mortgages, savings and ISAs, insurance, loans, credit cards and investments, with internet banking and a mobile app used by over 7 million people. It gives 1 per cent of its pre-tax profits to charitable activities and has made a Branch Promise to keep all of its branches open until at least the start of 2030.
