Poole Academy of Dance has been established since 1992 and teaches from Francis House, 11-15 Francis Avenue, Wallisdown, Bournemouth. It offers technical training in ballet, tap, acrobatics, modern jazz, lyrical, contemporary, group singing, vocal coaching, stage work and acting, training pupils to major standards in all subjects, and many of its pupils go on to professional stage and theatre work. The academy enters pupils for examinations, runs a competition team, shows, PPAs and a summer school, and supports Youth Beats Cancer.
