Ferndown First School

Ferndown First School is a first school on Mountbatten Drive, Ferndown, about eight miles north of Bournemouth on the northern edge of the Poole and Bournemouth conurbation, with open heathland to the north. The headteacher is Mr Sean Watts. It is a two form entry school that has accepted three forms of entry since September 2018 where required by Dorset Council, with a pupil admission number of 60 and 342 pupils on roll. The premises, built as an open-plan middle school in 1968, include a well resourced IT suite, library, music room, life skills room and art gallery.
