Swanage Town Council is the parish council for the town of Swanage, including Durlston, Herston and Ulwell, based at the Town Hall on the High Street. Its stated mission is to maintain and enhance Swanage for the well-being and prosperity of present and future generations. Council services include allotments, beach huts, the boat park, car parking and residents' permits, cemeteries, the market, parks, gardens and play areas, public conveniences and sporting activities, and it runs the Swanage Information Centre and handles festivals, events, filming requests and stallholder applications.
