The Square & Compass

The Square and Compass is a traditional pub in the heart of Dorset, extending a friendly family welcome from staff, locals and customers. It serves award-winning beers and ciders, including home-pressed traditional cider made by the owner, alongside homemade and locally sourced pasties and pies, with gluten-free pasties and cakes also available. Live music from bands and artists is staged regularly on evenings and Sunday afternoons through the year, there is a monthly open mic night, and the pub has its own fossil museum and sells merchandise.
