Cherry Tree Montessori Nursery is at 1 High Street, Ashley Heath, about three miles from Ringwood and half a mile from St Ives. It occupies a Grade II listed building on what it describes as the smallest High Street in the country, with around half an acre of gardens and an outside learning area, plus off-road parking so parents can drop off and collect safely. Its approach is a hybrid one, following Maria Montessori's philosophy of encouraging children to develop individually in a happy, friendly and caring environment, with Forest School sessions for older children.
