Careys Secret Garden is an award-winning hidden 3.5 acre Victorian walled garden just outside Wareham in the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset, dedicated to reconnecting people with nature. Behind a 150 year old wall the garden was left untouched for more than 40 years and is now flourishing again, with edible hedgerows, fruit trees, roses, flowers, a veggie patch and herb gardens. It is open for garden visits Thursday to Saturday and offers events, workshops and family-friendly activities, sustainably grown peat-free plants, gifts from local makers, membership, group visits and hire.
