Barthelemy & Co is a specialist grower of Japanese maples at its nursery at 262 Wimborne Road West, Stapehill, Dorset, where visitors are welcome. The small family business grafts over 10,000 plants each year and offers over 100 varieties of Acer, ranging from small plants in 1 litre pots up to 8 foot trees, with many potted into 3 litre and larger sizes such as 7.5 litre. All sizes are available year round at the nursery, while a selection of 1 litre plants is sold through its online store; plants are packed in cardboard tubes for posting and larger plants are collection only.
