St Catherine's is a Roman Catholic parish church in Wimborne. Its own history page records that legend places a small chapel dedicated to Catherine of Alexandria on the same site, referred to in historical references in 1660 as lying east of the minster in an acre of land known as Streats Mead, and that a small chapel with the same dedication stood there in the Middle Ages. The parish runs groups, publishes a newsletter and parish information, celebrates Mass and the sacraments, and streams Mass online.
