Freemasons have been meeting in Wimborne since 1853 and the brethren describe themselves as the sixth oldest lodge in the Province of Dorset and the most historic lodge in Wimborne, a friendly, dynamic and approachable lodge with a reputation for tradition and ritual and a membership drawn from a variety of occupations and a wide range of ages.
