Shaw Trust is an employment charity that helps people find and keep meaningful work, provides education and training, champions community health and wellbeing, helps businesses become better workplaces, supports rehabilitation and is the largest not-for-profit provider of residential children's homes. It grew from beginnings in 1982 in the village of Shaw in Wiltshire, finding jobs for disabled people, and today has around 3,000 employees and 600 volunteers across the UK. It also runs charity shops in local communities.
