The Royal Oak

The Royal Oak is a restored countryside pub on Christchurch Road in Downton, near Lymington. Following a full refurbishment it is open with its complete food and drink offering, and inside has cosy corners, open fires and a bar serving kept ales, classic wines and Guinness. The menu covers comforting pub classics alongside seasonal dishes, with a Sunday roast and a separate Christmas menu. A large garden and a spacious car park adjoin the pub, which is well placed for walkers and welcomes well behaved dogs on leads. Tables can be booked online.
