The Dolphin Poole is Dorset's largest indoor shopping centre, bringing over 90 retailers together under one roof, with high street brands alongside independent specialist stores, and welcoming upwards of 30,000 visitors a day. It opened as the Arndale Centre in 1969 and relaunched as the Dolphin Shopping Centre in 1989, expanding since Legal & General acquired it in 2013 to add food and drink, leisure and free events. Its quarters include Kingland for local independents, GATHER as a free community events venue, FOUNDRY for flexible workspace, a street market and five street food restaurants.
