The British Heart Foundation is a charity that funds research into heart and circulatory diseases and provides information and support on heart conditions, risk factors, tests and treatments, including CPR and defibrillator training. It raises funds through donations, fundraising events, volunteering and a chain of charity shops and online shop, collecting donated furniture and electrical items from homes free of charge and selling them in its stores to fund its research.
