Poole Park, known as The People's Park, is a 110-acre public park bordering Poole Harbour and within walking distance of the town centre. It offers open parkland, gardens and lakes, two large play areas, tennis courts, bowling greens, a miniature railway, a cycle track, a cricket pitch, a fitness trail, crazy golf, an indoor soft play zone, a pottery studio and two cafes. A large saltwater lagoon gives the park its distinctive character and supports watersports of all types, including a model yacht enclosure.
