The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea
P286+WC, West Quay Road, Old Town, Poole, BH15 1HZ
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea, and its search and rescue service has been saving lives for over 200 years, funded primarily by donations. Lifeboat crews launch 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, lifeguards patrol beaches through the summer, and water safety teams and international teams share drowning prevention advice with communities at home and abroad. Most RNLI people are volunteers supported by expert staff, and the charity is separate from the coastguard and independent of government.
