Hatches Garage is a family-run garage and fuel supplier on Salisbury Road, West Wellow, Romsey. Founded by James Hatch senior, who bought the present site in 1921, it has served customers with petrol and diesel for decades, filling up without the driver leaving the car. Alongside fuel it has grown into one of the largest suppliers of solid fuels and kiln-dried firewood in the area, and it supplies and fits all makes of tyre for cars and trailers.
