The Oceanarium is a tropical aquarium on Bournemouth's seafront at Pier Approach, home to thousands of creatures including Humboldt penguins and a West African dwarf crocodile. Alongside several indoor displays it has an outdoor terrace and a penguin viewing area, making it a place to visit all year round whatever the weather. Visitors can take animal experiences such as reef shark, penguin and turtle feeding, follow talks and feeding times using the Oceanarium map, and the aquarium also handles school and group visits, birthday parties, private hire and memberships.
