The Samaritans of Bournemouth and District

Samaritans is a charity that works to prevent suicide through the power of human connection, putting people in crisis in touch with trained volunteers who will listen, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. It operates through local branches, some of which run charity shops to raise funds, and offers support by phone, by email and in person, along with guidance for people worried about someone else, support groups for those bereaved by suicide, corporate partnerships, volunteering, policy and research work and media guidelines for reporting suicide and self-harm.
