Beach House is a beach-side cafe and bar on the harbour side of the sand spit at Hengistbury Head, with panoramic views across Christchurch Harbour, Hengistbury Head and Mudeford Quay. A fire in October 2018 destroyed the original chalet-style building, leaving only the veranda, and it has since traded as an open-air, festival-style food and drink takeaway with a retro burger van, a stone-baked pizza kitchen, paella, a seafood and salad counter, a beach bar and a beach shop, while a rebuild is awaited. Seating is limited and first come, first served.
