Buckler's Hard is an 18th century shipbuilding village and museum on the banks of the Beaulieu River in the New Forest, Hampshire, where ships for Nelson's Navy were built and whose history runs back to the 13th century under Cistercian monks. Visitors can see the museum, the village, the Shipwright's Cottage, St Mary's Chapel and the Shipwright Workshop, take a river cruise, and use the gift shop, places to eat and places to stay. It also hosts events, group visits and tours, education and school visits and rallies.
