New Forest Cider is a family cider maker on Pound Lane in the heart of Burley village, near Ringwood. Barry Topp began pressing apples from the family smallholding in 1988 after finding a 1950s hydraulic cider press at auction, and the business now makes authentic full-juice cider using traditional methods, with his eldest son John leading production each autumn. The family are New Forest commoners of four generations. The site includes a shop and farm accommodation set up by Barry's wife Sue, and the business runs events including a craft cider festival weekend and a wassail.
