The George

The George is a beautiful 18th-century pub at 14 Bridge Street, Fordingbridge, set on the banks of the River Avon on the edge of the New Forest National Park in the former market town. It is Fordingbridge's oldest surviving inn and is run by Charmaine and her team. The kitchen makes everything from scratch and serves classic gastro pub food using locally sourced, seasonal produce wherever possible, with a comprehensive wine list and a well stocked bar, and there is a takeaway menu. The pub is so dog friendly it has its own doggy menu.
