The Chequers Inn

The Chequers Inn is a picturesque traditional 16th century English pub on Ridgeway Lane at Lower Woodside, between Keyhaven and Lymington, on the edge of the historic Lymington salt marsh and nature reserve. Described as a hidden gem on an ancient maritime pathway, it is an ideal stop or destination for a coastal walk with views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The bar serves traditional local Ringwood ales, lagers, soft drinks, tea and coffee, and the kitchen offers a traditional English menu and daily specials. The courtyard function area has its own private bar.
