Ringwood Chess Club is a long established and friendly chess club which meets on Monday evenings at the Greyfriars Community Centre in Ringwood, in either the Megan Holman room or the Hilary Christie room, and which describes its venue as one of the best in the region. It plays in the Southampton, Dorset, and Bournemouth and District leagues and also offers members casual games, a club championship and an annual rapidplay tournament. It welcomes new members from beginners to experienced league players, and visitors may come for a game before joining.
