Nationwide Building Society

Nationwide Building Society is a member-owned building society offering current accounts, savings and ISAs, mortgages, loans, credit cards, insurance and investments, with internet banking and an app the society says is used by over 7 million people. Unlike a bank it is owned by its members rather than shareholders, it gives 1% of pre-tax profits to charitable activities, and its Branch Promise commits it to keeping all of its branches open until at least the start of 2030.
