The Fleur de Lys

Nole Pizza and Rooms, in Wimborne, Dorset

5 Wimborne Street, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 5PP

The Fleur de Lys is a 17th century inn at 5 Wimborne Street in the village of Cranborne, at the centre of the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and under an International Dark Sky Reserve. It has the features expected of a country pub, with low ceilings, exposed beams, open fires and cosy corners, and serves food and drink alongside guest rooms for overnight stays. Thomas Hardy knew Cranborne and drew on it for Tess of the d'Urbervilles, in which the inn appears as the Flower-de-Luce.
