Worldwide Veterinary Service is an animal welfare charity with its base at 4 Castle Street, Cranborne, near Wimborne. It provides free expert veterinary care to animals in need all over the world by sending vets where they are needed most, training veterinary professionals to raise the standard of care globally, and shipping urgent aid supplies worldwide every day of the year. WVS began in 2003 in a vet practice in a small village in Dorset, where CEO and founder Luke Gamble started sending aid parcels to charities abroad after seeing how many animals lacked access to basic veterinary care.
