PDSA is the vet charity for pets in need, providing free and low cost veterinary care to poorly pets whose owners cannot afford the full cost of treatment. It has kept people and pets together for over a hundred years and cares for an average of 4,700 pets every working day across its Pet Hospitals, while also working in schools and communities to raise awareness of pet health issues and running the PDSA Animal Awards programme. It funds this through donations, gifts in wills, a weekly lottery, pet insurance, its Pet Store and Vet Care product range, and a chain of charity shops.
